Bookkeeper

Hotel & Real Estate Investment Platform | Full-Time | In-Office | $60,000 – $65,000

About Us

We are a privately held hotel and real estate investment platform with a growing portfolio of 10+ hotels and multiple development projects. We operate with a lean, high-performance team and move quickly. Our culture is entrepreneurial. We expect ownership, not process for the sake of process.

The Role

We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our finance team. You will work directly alongside our Controller, supporting the day-to-day financial operations across multiple SPVs and hotel assets. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who wants to grow fast in a sophisticated real estate and hospitality environment. You will be given real ownership and real exposure from day one.

What You Will Do

Maintain accurate books across multiple entities in QuickBooks
Process accounts payable and receivable across hotel and real estate SPVs
Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and intercompany transactions monthly
Support month-end close and preparation of management accounts
Assist the Controller with financial reporting packages for investors and ownership
Coordinate with property-level staff to ensure timely and accurate expense coding
Maintain organised records of invoices, contracts, and financial documentation
Flag variances or anomalies to the Controller promptly
Support annual audit and tax preparation processes

What We Are Looking ForRequired

1 to 2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience — hospitality or real estate exposure is a plus but not mandatory
Working knowledge of QuickBooks or willingness to learn quickly
High attention to detail and comfort managing multiple tasks simultaneously
Organised and self-directed - you do not need to be reminded twice
Clear communicator who flags problems early rather than quietly hoping they resolve
Eager to learn and grow within a lean, fast-moving team

Preferred

Some exposure to hotel or property accounting - even internship or part-time experience counts
Familiarity with multi-entity or SPV structures
Exposure to AI-assisted financial tools or automated reporting workflows
Accounting diploma, relevant certification, or currently pursuing one
