Ice 'n Cake is a European-inspired gelateria and café at CF Shops at Don Mills serving specialty coffee, handcrafted gelato, pastries, and desserts.
We're looking for a reliable and hardworking Busser/Dishwasher who takes pride in cleanliness, works with a sense of urgency, and enjoys being part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
- Clear, clean, and reset tables promptly.
- Wash dishes, utensils, trays, and café equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing and back-of-house areas.
- Sweep, mop, and complete cleaning tasks throughout each shift.
- Keep the café, patio, and washrooms clean, stocked, and organized at all times.
- Restock supplies, packaging, and café essentials before they run low.
- Monitor the café throughout the shift and proactively address cleaning, stocking, and organizational needs.
- Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries.
- Remove garbage and recycling and maintain back-of-house organization.
- Support opening and closing procedures.
- Support baristas, gelato team members, and other staff to ensure smooth and efficient café operations.
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation standards throughout the café.
- Remain productive during slower periods by cleaning, stocking, organizing, and assisting the team wherever needed.
- Follow all company health, safety, and food handling procedures.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support the needs of the business.
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant, café, or customer service experience is an asset but not required.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
- Comfortable performing physically active work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Ability to follow procedures and maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically active work, including bending, lifting, and moving supplies as required.

Schedule Requirements
Applicants must be available for a combination of:
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday availability is strongly preferred.
Job Type: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $17.20–$19.00 per hour
Expected Hours: 10–25 per week
