Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing effective treatment plans to improve patients' mobility and overall well-being. Luccisano Physiotherapy is a publicly funded outpatient clinic in Woodbridge, ON. It has been providing physiotherapy services to the community of Vaughan for 15 years.

Currently seeking coverage for Monday to Friday from 11 am to 5 pm. You will require to have a Provisional/Full Registration (member in good standing) with the provincial College of Physiotherapists, excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work cooperatively with others and demonstrated commitment to post-graduate professional development

Job Type: Part-time

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical conditions and mobility limitations
Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and medical history
Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other interventions to improve function
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly
Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, rehabilitation techniques, and health maintenance
Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments, progress notes, and clinical records
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
Stay current with advancements in physiotherapy practices and incorporate evidence-based methods into patient care

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited program
Valid license or certification to practice as a Physiotherapist in the respective region
Strong knowledge of medical terminology and patient care protocols
Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
Compassionate approach with a focus on patient-centered care
Experience working with pediatric populations is considered a plus

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $40.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week

Work Location: In person
