Sounds great, but what does a day as a Survey Technician look like?

Perform and validate surveying and formwork plan readings.
Ensure compliance of layouts and measurements with execution plans.
Use specialized software (Autodesk AutoCAD, Revit, BIM) for plan preparation, verification, and adjustments.
Perform and process 3D scans using Faro technology to guarantee optimal surveying data accuracy.
Integrate and use point clouds to support modeling and project coordination.
Conceptualize and visualize structural elements in 3D to anticipate challenges and optimize site solutions.
Collaborate closely with formwork teams to ensure fast, precise, and safe execution.
Provide technical support during planning and interpretation of shop drawings.
Contribute to improving work methods and sharing best practices within the team.

What you’ll need:

Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent experience.
Relevant experience in surveying and formwork (asset).
Proficiency with Autodesk software (AutoCAD and Revit).
Knowledge of BIM software (an asset, training available).
Experience with Faro scanning technology and point cloud processing (asset).
Excellent ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Strong spatial awareness and ability to conceptualize in 3D.
Excellent attention to detail.
Skills in team coordination and supervision.

C’est bien beau tout ça, mais une journée de travail en tant que technologue en arpentage avec nous, c’est quoi?

Effectuer et valider les lectures de plans d’arpentage et de coffrage.
Assurer la conformité des implantations et des mesures avec les plans d’exécution.
Utiliser les logiciels spécialisés (Autodesk AutoCAD, Revit, BIM) pour la préparation, la vérification et l’ajustement des plans.
Réaliser et traiter des relevés 3D avec la technologie Faro Scan afin d’assurer une précision optimale des données d’arpentage.
Intégrer et exploiter les nuages de points pour faciliter la modélisation et la coordination des travaux.
Conceptualiser et visualiser en 3D les éléments de structure pour anticiper les défis et optimiser les solutions de chantier.
Collaborer étroitement avec les équipes de coffrage pour assurer une exécution rapide, précise et sécuritaire.
Apporter un soutien technique lors de la planification et de l’interprétation des dessins d’atelier.
Contribuer à l’amélioration des méthodes de travail et au partage des bonnes pratiques au sein de l’équipe.

Ce dont vous aurez besoin :

Diplôme d’études collégiales (DEC) en génie civil, architecture ou expérience équivalente.
Expérience pertinente en arpentage et en coffrage (atout).
Maîtrise des logiciels Autodesk (AutoCAD et Revit).
Connaissance des logiciels BIM (un atout, formation possible).
Expérience avec la technologie de scans Faro et traitement de nuages de points (atout).
Excellente capacité de lecture et d’interprétation de plans techniques.
Bonne vision spatiale et capacité à conceptualiser en 3D.
Rigueur, rapidité d’exécution et souci du détail.
Habiletés en coordination et en supervision d’équipes.
