Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling, welding, and fabricating metal components with precision and efficiency. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, blueprint reading, and various fabrication techniques to produce high-quality products that meet project specifications and safety standards.

Responsibilities

Interpret and analyze blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine fabrication requirements.
Operate welding equipment including MIG and TIG welders to join metal components securely.
Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, and other measuring devices to cut, shape, and assemble materials accurately.
Perform plasma cutting, press brake operations, and machining tasks to fabricate parts according to specifications.
Rigging and handling heavy components using cranes or forklifts safely and efficiently.
Conduct quality checks on fabricated parts to ensure adherence to design tolerances and safety standards.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols related to welding, machining, and material handling.
Assist in the assembly of ductwork, structural components, or other fabricated assemblies as needed.

Experience

Proven experience in manufacturing or construction environments with a focus on fabrication.
Hands-on knowledge of welding techniques including MIG and TIG welding.
Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and basic math for measurements and calculations.
Experience operating machinery such as plasma cutters, press brake machines, forklifts, and hand or power tools.
Mechanical knowledge related to rigging, crane operation, machining processes, and assembly procedures is highly desirable.
Ability to work with ductwork or structural steel components is a plus.
Prior experience with schematics interpretation, welding certifications, or construction projects will be advantageous. This position offers an opportunity for a dedicated fabricator to contribute their skills within a dynamic manufacturing environment focused on quality craftsmanship and safety standards.

Pay: $17.67-$36.87 per hour
