Full job description

Koala Insulation of Winnipeg is looking to hire an insulation installer.

We provide a range of insulation services including blown-in, spray foam, batt, and removals. We are in the early stages of building the business and are looking for someone reliable who wants long-term growth.

This role requires experience operating blowing machines and installing insulation to proper depths and coverage. You should be comfortable working in attics and ensuring consistent, high-quality installs.

Responsibilities

Install blown-in insulation (fiberglass or cellulose) to required R-values
Operate and maintain blowing machines and equipment
Ensure proper coverage, depth, and air sealing practices
Set up job sites including baffles, prep, and cleanup
Maintain safe and organized work environments
Communicate with homeowners and team members
Assist with other insulation services when needed

Requirements

Minimum 1 year blown-in insulation experience preferred
Experience with blowing machines
Good understanding of attic insulation best practices
Valid driver’s license
Reliable, professional, and detail-oriented
Comfortable working in tight spaces and physical environments
Ability to work occasional weekends
