Job Overview:
Works with hiring manager to document requirements of job openings as required opening requisition(s). Determines appropriate recruiting sources for advertising and posting positions. Promotes the company image to candidates and external service providers. Surfaces candidates and develops networks of people and processes to support a strong pipeline of qualified candidates. Pre-screens resumes and evaluates effectiveness of electronic candidate evaluation tools. Documents candidate evaluation and interview process. Negotiates and/or supports hiring manager in developing new hire compensation package/offers. May conduct employment background checks. Works with agencies, recruiting contractors and/or internet website representatives in the course of conducting employment advertising campaigns. May provide performance feedback on all recruiting agencies/sources. May develop, support and maintain college recruiting, affirmative action and career development programs. Professionals at the higher levels may specialize in technical recruiting and/or highly specialized executive searches. May also assist with the immigration process and administration as a liaison with immigration attorneys.
Responsibilities:
At a senior level, this role brings extensive experience and deep expertise in a specific function or area of specialty. The individual is expected to work cross-functionally to resolve complex challenges, anticipate system-wide issues, and develop strategic, long-term solutions. They translate technical concepts and their implications for non-technical audiences and constructively address feedback or objections. Strong influencing and persuasive skills are developed and applied to gain buy-in for complex recommendations.
The role provides technical leadership to large groups or complex, cross-functional project teams. In addition to managing their own workload, the individual supports team planning efforts to ensure deadlines and goals are met. They are responsible for planning, allocating, and managing resources for large-scale projects, developing specifications based on broad input, and leading teams to deliver results aligned with organizational objectives.

Experience Required:
Professionals at this level are seasoned experts within their domain, usually with 5–8 years of experience. They are adept at cross-functional collaboration, leading technical aspects of complex projects, and communicating effectively with non-specialist stakeholders. Individuals are expected to influence decisions, mentor others, and take initiative in anticipating and solving systemic problems
Canada Pay Transparency Clause
This posting is for an existing vacancy. The expected annual base salary for this position is $XX–$XX CAD. This role may also be eligible for a company bonus or commission plan, as applicable to the position. Canadian work experience is not required. Automated or artificial intelligence–assisted tools may be used in the screening or assessment of applicants.
