What will you do?
The Finance Co-op Student will support the Digital Industries Sales Finance team in Canada, contributing to business performance analysis, forecasting, and reporting activities.
The role provides exposure to:
- Sales performance management
- Financial planning & analysis (FP&A)
- Business operations within an industrial automation environment
Performance Reporting
- Support monthly reporting for:
- Order Intake (OI)
- Revenue
- Forecast vs actual
- Assist in preparing management decks (e.g., MMM)
Forecasting & Analysis
- Analyze:
- Pipeline data (CRM / SieSales)
- Run rate and forecast trends
- Support TPE and business mix analysis
- Assist in identifying risks/opportunities vs target
Data & Tools
- Work with:
- Excel (pivot tables, modeling)
- Power BI / dashboards
- SAP / CO-PA extracts
Business Support
- Collaborate with:
- Sales teams
- Segment / product stakeholders
- Support:
- Ad hoc analysis
- Pricing / margin questions
- Deal analytics (where needed)
What will you need to succeed?
- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program (college or university)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn
[Hourly rate is commensurate with experience, and ranges between $ 20.50 CAD - $ 23.70 CAD.]
