Overview
Join our dynamic team as an HVAC/R Technician and become a vital part of maintaining and optimizing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems across diverse commercial and industrial settings. This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical expertise, troubleshoot complex systems, and deliver exceptional service that keeps facilities running smoothly. As an HVAC/R Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring all equipment operates at peak efficiency, contributing to a safe and comfortable environment for clients and staff alike.

Duties

Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning) and refrigeration systems in accordance with industry standards and schematics.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and refrigeration components using tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment.
Conduct preventative maintenance on boilers, refrigeration units, air conditioning units, and related mechanical systems to prevent downtime.
Read and interpret technical schematics, HVAC design plans, and wiring diagrams to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions.
Repair appliances, weld components as needed, and execute equipment repairs efficiently to minimize operational disruptions.
Maintain property by inspecting HVAC/R equipment regularly, performing necessary repairs or replacements to ensure safety and compliance.
Operate a <PERSON> driver vehicle safely when transporting tools or equipment between job sites.
Collaborate with team members on field service projects requiring welding, boiler maintenance, or complex mechanical repairs.

Experience

Proven service technician experience in HVAC/R or related mechanical fields with a strong understanding of HVAC systems design and operation.
Hands-on experience with construction projects involving HVAC installation or property maintenance is highly desirable.
Familiarity with schematics, wiring diagrams, and HVAC design plans to facilitate accurate troubleshooting.
Knowledge of refrigeration systems including ammonia refrigeration units used in industrial applications.
Mechanical knowledge covering plumbing systems, appliance repair, boiler operation, and general equipment repair.
Demonstrated ability to operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters effectively in field service scenarios.
Experience with welding techniques for repairing or fabricating system components is a plus.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record to support transportation needs across job sites.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
