As they continue to expand their engineering team, they are looking for an experienced Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to drive quality throughout the software development lifecycle by combining software development expertise with modern quality engineering practices.

Who Are You?
You are a quality-focused Software Development Engineer in Test who enjoys solving complex testing challenges and improving software quality through automation. You have experience designing automated test frameworks, executing manual and automated testing strategies, and collaborating closely with Product Managers, Software Developers, and Systems teams.
You understand that quality is everyone's responsibility and are comfortable working in Agile environments where testing is integrated throughout the development lifecycle. You are passionate about continuous improvement and enjoy leveraging modern testing technologies including AI-assisted testing to improve efficiency and test coverage.
What You'll Be Doing
As an SDET, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of enterprise software applications.
Practically speaking, you will:
Software Quality & Testing
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive testing strategies throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Perform manual and automated testing to validate application functionality, reliability, and performance.
- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and reusable test suites.
- Execute: Functional testing, Integration testing, Regression testing, End-to-end testing, API testing, UI testing
- Validate workflow-driven enterprise applications to ensure business processes function as expected.
- Support release readiness through thorough test execution and defect validation.
Automation Development
- Build and maintain automated testing solutions using Playwright.
- Improve automated test coverage across applications and services.
- Identify opportunities to automate repetitive testing activities and improve testing efficiency.
- Contribute to the continuous enhancement of testing frameworks and quality engineering practices.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Work closely with Product, Development, and Systems teams to define quality requirements early in the development process.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with developers to identify defects, validate fixes, and improve software quality.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across the Quality Engineering function.
Modern Quality Engineering
- Utilize AI-assisted testing techniques to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
- Develop and execute test scenarios using Gherkin scripting where applicable.
- Support testing activities within CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous integration and continuous delivery.
- Maintain accurate testing documentation, defect tracking, and test reporting.
What You Will Bring
Experience
- 3–5+ years of experience in: Software Quality Assurance (QA), Software Testing, Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) roles
- Experience working throughout the full software development lifecycle.
- Experience testing workflow-driven enterprise applications is highly desirable.
Technical Skills
- Strong experience with automated testing tools, particularly: Playwright
- Experience performing: Manual, Functional testing, Integration testing, Regression testing, End-to-end testing, API testing, UI testing
- Experience working within: Agile/Scrum development environments, CI/CD pipelines, Source control systems
- Familiarity with: Jira, Xray
- Experience with AI-driven testing practices is highly desirable.
- Experience with Gherkin scripting is considered an asset.
