Summary

'Fairview Glen Montessori School is seeking a passionate Montessori Lower Elementary Teacher to join our innovative team in Burlington, ON. This role involves inspiring students from Grade 1 to 3 within a supportive environment that emphasizes responsibility, initiative, project based learning and social development. The position is based in Burlington, Ontario, Canada.'
Responsibilities

' Design and implement engaging Montessori-based lessons for elementary students.

Foster a supportive classroom environment that encourages social and academic growth.
Assess student progress and tailor instruction to meet individual needs.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff.
Maintain classroom organization and manage time efficiently.
Support the development of core values and social awareness among students.'

Qualifications

Montessori Elementary 1 Diploma from a MACTE* training institute (Lower Elementary)

Proven experience in Montessori Elementary 1 classroom

Strong leadership skills
Strong communication skills in English
Strong knowledge of Montessori materials, lessons and follow up work for the Lower Elementary Level.
Knowledge of modern educational tools and technology integration.
Ability to work effectively with children of diverse needs.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Relevant certifications in First Aid, CPR-C,
Clear Vulnerable Sector Screening
Passion for fostering social-emotional development.
