We are looking for a skilled and experienced Painter to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong craftsmanship, and the ability to work independently while completing projects on time. In this role, you will prepare surfaces, repair minor imperfections, mix and match paints, and apply professional-quality finishes to interior and exterior residential and commercial properties. The successful candidate should have a good understanding of painting techniques, surface preparation, colour matching, and workplace safety procedures while following project requirements and company standards to ensure high-quality results.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare interior and exterior surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, scraping, patching holes, and correcting surface imperfections.
- Mix, match, and prepare paint colours based on project requirements and customer preferences.
- Apply primers, sealers, stains, and protective coatings to achieve durable and high-quality finishes.
- Paint walls, ceilings, doors, trim, cabinets, and other surfaces using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
- Protect floors, furniture, fixtures, and nearby areas using drop cloths, masking tape, and other protective materials.
- Review completed work to ensure quality standards are met and complete any necessary touch-ups or corrections.
