Duranté Photography & Duranté Studios are looking for a reliable, creative, and professional Contract Photographer & Videographer to join our growing team on an as-needed basis.
This is a contractor position ideal for someone who already operates their own business, has professional gear, and enjoys capturing a variety of content including branding sessions, events, behind-the-scenes content, and in-house marketing material.
Compensation
- Starting at $50/hour

What You’ll Be Capturing
- Branding photography sessions
- Branding video content
- Event photography and video coverage
- Behind-the-scenes (BTS) content during client sessions
- Social media content for Duranté Photography & Duranté Studios
- Team content days and marketing shoots
- Additional creative projects as needed
Responsibilities
- Arrive on time and prepared for all scheduled shoots
- Follow provided shot lists, creative direction, and brand guidelines
- Capture both photo and video content as requested
- Create engaging BTS content during sessions
- Work professionally with clients and represent the Duranté brand positively
- Communicate clearly and reliably before, during, and after shoots
- Transfer all captured content at the end of each session
- Maintain a professional appearance and attitude while on set
Equipment Requirements
Applicants must provide their own:
- Professional camera body capable of both photo and video
- Professional lenses suitable for a variety of shooting environments
- Memory card reader
- Any additional equipment required to complete assignments
Memory cards will be provided by Duranté Photography for all client work. All content must be returned on the provided memory card before leaving the shoot location.
Editing
At this time, no editing is required.
Your primary responsibility will be capturing high-quality content that aligns with the creative direction provided. As the relationship grows, additional opportunities, including editing and expanded responsibilities, may become available based on performance and business needs.
Ideal Candidate
- Has experience photographing and filming people
- Comfortable working in a variety of environments including studios, events, businesses, and outdoor locations
- Strong understanding of composition, lighting, and storytelling
- Friendly, professional, and confident interacting with clients
- Detail-oriented, dependable, and organized
- Able to follow creative direction while taking initiative when appropriate
- Available on weekdays and occasional evenings and weekends
- Looking to build a long-term working relationship with a growing creative company
Internship Opportunities
We are also open to working with students seeking internship or placement hours for school credit.
Please note that internship positions differ from contractor positions in terms of responsibilities, experience requirements, and compensation. As a result, internship compensation will be significantly lower than the standard contractor rate and will be discussed on a case-by-case basis.
Interns will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in:
- Branding photography and videography
- Event coverage
- Behind-the-scenes content creation
- Client workflow and shoot preparation
- Creative business operations
