Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Salon Coordinator/Receptionist to join our team. This vital role involves managing front desk operations, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring smooth daily salon functions. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative skills, proficiency with office software, and a professional demeanor to create a welcoming environment for clients and staff alike.

Responsibilities

Greet clients warmly and check them in for appointments
Be in charge of social media postings
Manage appointment scheduling using salon management software
Answer multi-line phone systems promptly and professionally
Handle client inquiries and provide exceptional customer support
Maintain accurate records through data entry and filing systems
Process payments and handle billing using QuickBooks or similar accounting tools
Manage correspondence, emails, and appointment reminders via Google Workspace or Microsoft Office
Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
Assist with administrative tasks such as proofreading documents, organizing files, and managing office supplies
Support other clerical duties including typing, proofreading, and general office support
Deal with escalations/complaints

Skills

Proven experience in office administration or clerical roles, preferably in a medical or dental office setting
Strong computer skills with proficiency
Experience with Social Media editing tools
Excellent customer service skills with professional phone etiquette and organizational abilities
Ability to handle multi-line phone systems efficiently
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in filing, proofreading, and data management
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
Previous experience as a dental receptionist or in medical office support is advantageous but not required
Demonstrated ability to manage administrative tasks such as typing, proofreading, and customer support effectively

Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour
