Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Slitter Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining slitting equipment to produce precise material cuts, ensuring high-quality standards are met. This role offers an opportunity to work with advanced machinery and contribute to efficient production processes in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Duties

Operate and monitor slitting machines, including CNC and manual setups, to accurately cut materials according to specifications.
Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration of equipment.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure precise production outputs.
Use hand tools, calipers, and other measuring devices to verify dimensions and quality control standards.
Conduct quality inspections throughout the process to identify defects or inconsistencies, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety protocols related to welding, machining, and equipment operation.
Collaborate with team members on assembly tasks when necessary and assist in training new operators.
