Role overview:
As a Construction Foreman, you serve as the on-site lead, overseeing safety, workmanship, productivity, and team performance. You will organize daily operations, supervise a crew of 2 to 5 alongside sub-trades, coordinate with Operations and Project Management, and ensure each project is completed to a high-end standard that exceeds client expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Leading a crew of 2–5 team members plus sub trades
- Reading and executing plans, layouts, and construction drawings
- Coordinating daily work with project managers and operations
- Ensuring timelines, quality standards, and safety protocols are met
- Maintaining a clean, professional, and efficient job site
- Acting as the on-site point of contact when needed
- Installing and constructing hardscape elements including interlock, natural stone, retaining walls, and steps
- Executing softscape installs such as planting, grading, and sod installation
- Completing additional site features including landscape lighting, irrigation systems, concrete work, and wood structures
- Safely operating construction equipment including mini excavators, skid steers, compactors, and various power tools
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in landscape construction (design-build preferred)
- Strong ability to read drawings and execute layouts accurately
- Experience in leading crews and coordinating with trades
- Solid knowledge of both hardscape and softscape installation
- Confidence operating landscape construction equipment
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
- Commitment to safety and best practices on-site
- Valid G driver’s license and reliable transportation
- AZ/DZ license (preferred)
- Experience on high-end luxury projects (preferred)
