We are seeking a skilled Tool & Die Maker for one of our manufacturing clients in GTA region.

Pay - $40 $44/hr

Shift - Continental Night

Responsibilities:

Build, repair, troubleshoot, and maintain tooling and dies used in manufacturing operations.
Perform preventive maintenance on tooling and production equipment.
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications.
Operate CNC milling machines, lathes, grinders, and other tool room equipment.
Modify tooling to improve production efficiency and product quality.
Inspect completed work using precision measuring instruments.
Support production teams in resolving tooling and equipment issues.
Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety and quality standards.
Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records.
Assist with continuous improvement initiatives within the tool room and production areas.

Qualifications:

Valid Ontario Trade Certificate as a Tool & Die Maker.
At least 3 years of hands-on experience working within a manufacturing environment.
Previous exposure to powder metal tooling operations is considered an asset.
Minimum 2 years of experience operating CNC Milling and/or Lathe equipment.
Familiarity with programming and operating Heidenhain and/or MAZATROL control systems.
