Talent Acquisition Co-op Student (Fall Term)

This isn’t your typical co-op - you’ll play a meaningful role from day one, contributing to work that directly supports our people and the lifesaving mission they deliver every day.
What You’ll Do:
As a TA Co-op Student, you’ll support day-to-day recruitment operations and key initiatives:
Recruitment & Coordination
- Schedule interviews and coordinate communication with candidates and hiring leaders
- Maintain accurate data in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Support candidate communications and monitor shared inboxes
Preboarding & New Hire Experience
- Prepare and track onboarding documents
- Assist with e-recruitment file organization and compliance tracking
Reference Checks
- Conduct and document reference checks
- Maintain accurate and confidential candidate records
Training & Projects
- Assist with the coordination of Recruitment Essentials training for hiring leaders
- Prepare materials, manage attendance, and gather feedback
Events & Early Talent
- Attend career related events as required
- Support planning and execution of career fairs and recruitment events
- Engage with candidates and assist with post-event follow-ups
What You Bring:
- You're currently pursuing a diploma or degree in Human Resources or Business Administration
- Talent Acquisition genuinely excites you - you love meeting people, building relationships and creating great candidate experiences
- You have excellent communication and organizational skills
- You pay attention to the details and know how to manage your time effectively
- You're confident using MS Office tools, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- You thrive in collaborative environments and bring a positive, customer-focused approach to everything you do
- You're eager to represent our organization at career fairs and recruitment events. Travel is a regular part of the role, and some events may take place during evenings and weekends
