Senior Sales Analyst - SalonCentric Canada

Location: Mississauga, ON, Canada
Division: SalonCentric (L’Oréal Professional Products Division)

A Day in the Life

Reporting to the National Sales Analytics Manager in Mississauga, you are a strategic partner driving data integration for our expanding salon network. You will own the narrative behind the numbers to guide business decisions.

Your main responsibilities include:
Sales Analytics & Strategic Insights

Lead deep-dive analyses to identify market-share opportunities, performance gaps, untapped growth pockets, and potential conquest opportunities.
Support the evolution of sales forecasting and budget models in partnership with Finance and Sales leadership.
Prepare concise executive summaries that highlight the most important insights, risks, opportunities, and recommended actions.

Data Integration & Business Growth

Identify, map, validate, and reconcile missing or inconsistent data from legacy systems.
Work closely with the National Sales Analytics Manager and cross-functional partners to improve data integrity and create reliable reporting foundations.
Proactively identify opportunities to improve processes, automate recurring tasks, and strengthen the overall analytics capability of the organization.
Build and maintain standardized KPIs, scorecards, and reporting frameworks that provide a consistent view of performance across the organization

Technical Expertise

Advanced hands-on expertise in Power BI, including:
Dashboard and report development
Data modelling and relationships
DAX measures and calculations
Power Query and data transformation
Data refresh, troubleshooting, and performance optimization
Expert-level Excel skills, including advanced PivotTables, Power Query, complex formulas, and data modelling.

We Are Looking For

A completed Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
4-6 years in a Senior Analytical role (sales, finance or category management)
Bilingualism & familiarity with CRM (Salesforce) and ERP systems (Sage, Ogasys) is considered an asset.
Planning & Business Analysis: Strong skills in sales forecasting and regional deep-dive reporting.
Initiative: A proactive "data hunter" who automates manual processes under pressure.
Collaboration: Exceptional ability to synthesize insights for non-technical stakeholders.
