Cultivar Foods is a fast-growing wholesale food distribution company with over 18 years of experience supplying organic and natural food products to health food stores, grocery chains, food service accounts, and wholesalers across Canada. We are currently seeking a reliable and energetic Delivery Driver / Warehouse Order Picker to join our growing team.

Position Summary

We are looking for a full-time Delivery Driver / Warehouse Order Picker to join our team. In this role, approximately 60% of your time will be spent completing deliveries to our retailers accounts, while the remaining 40% will involve warehouse duties such as order picking, sorting inbound products, and packing customer orders. You will work with dry, frozen, and refrigerated goods, ensuring all products are handled, stored, and delivered properly. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys both driving and hands-on warehouse work in a fast-paced environment and is looking for a stable, long-term opportunity.

Role Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Driving & Delivery (Primary Responsibility)

Drive company small trucks and vans to deliver products to retailers and customers across the GTA and surrounding areas.
Safely operate delivery vehicles while following all traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures.
Execute daily assigned delivery routes efficiently and ensure all deliveries and pickups are completed on schedule.
Deliver grocery products in a clean, professional, and safe manner.
Load and unload products carefully to ensure items arrive in excellent condition.
Verify deliveries with customers and maintain accurate delivery documentation, including invoices, temperature logs, count sheets, and incident reports.
Conduct routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
Provide excellent customer service and maintain strong relationships with retail partners and customers.
Ensure delivery vehicles are kept clean, organized, and properly maintained.
Follow all health and safety regulations and safe work procedures during deliveries and pickups.

Warehouse Order Picking & Support (Secondary Responsibility)

Accurately pick and prepare customer orders from warehouse inventory.
Sort and organize inbound shipments to support efficient warehouse operations.
Verify order accuracy before packing and shipping.
Wrap, label, and package orders for delivery.
Assist with loading customer orders into delivery vehicles.
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, including refrigerated and frozen storage areas.
Support general warehouse operations as needed to ensure smooth day-to-day workflow.

Forklift Operation (Asset)

Operate forklifts to assist with order picking, loading, and unloading
Forklift experience and a valid forklift license are preferred but not required.
Assistance in forklift operation will be provided as needed.

Health & Safety Compliance

Adhere to all health and safety regulations while performing warehouse duties, especially when handling temperature-sensitive products.
Operate warehouse equipment safely (e.g., pallet jacks, vehicles, forklifts).
Follow company policies and procedures at all times.

Qualifications and Skills:

Applicants must have minimum 5 years of experience driving a van or 18ft box truck with a valid Ontario Class G driver’s license and a clean driver abstract.
Driver must be over 25 years old.
1+ years of experience in food delivery is an asset.
Able to provide a clean Police Background check report.
Strong communication skills are required.
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs periodically.
Good driving knowledge of the GTA and surrounding areas is required.
Ability to work independently.
Dependable, hardworking, punctual, and reliable.
Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order fulfillment, inbound sorting, and proper handling of products.

Education & Experience

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of 1 year of warehouse experience, particularly in order picking.
Experience with driving small trucks or vans for deliveries (valid driver's license required).
Experience in food distribution is an asset.
Clean driving abstract required.

Skills & Competencies

Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision.
Self-motivated, proactive, and flexible.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Strong problem-solving skills and a team-oriented attitude.
Commitment to working safely and following Health & Safety guidelines
Must be able to commute easily to our facility (5653 McAdam Rd., Mississauga, ON L4Z 1N9).
