Why We Are Hiring

At cmi, we represent the creators of ideas.

Our roster includes world-class keynote speakers, bestselling authors, renowned business leaders, and "near-celebrities" whose ideas influence organizations around the world.

We're looking for a Marketing Coordinator to help elevate cmi's brand and amplify the voices of some of the most respected thought leaders in business today.

This is not a role for someone who simply wants to manage social media.

It's an opportunity for an ambitious marketer to learn how influential brands are built, how ideas spread, and how trust is earned at the highest levels of business.

This role is intentionally in-office because our best ideas, collaboration, and learning happen when we're together. If you're specifically seeking a remote or hybrid position, this likely won't be the right fit.

The Role

You'll work closely with our team to strengthen cmi's brand, support speaker marketing initiatives, and help tell the stories behind some of the most influential voices in business.

You will:

Manage and create content across cmi's social media channels and selected speaker platforms.
Support content creation for blogs, newsletters, email campaigns, websites, and speaker profiles.
Execute social media strategies that increase brand visibility and audience engagement.
Monitor marketing performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
Support speaker marketing initiatives, including book launches, media appearances, interviews, and promotional campaigns.
Maintain website content and digital marketing assets.
Research industry trends, meeting planner needs, competitor activity, and partnership opportunities.
Manage marketing projects, content calendars, and campaign timelines.
Contribute ideas that help strengthen cmi's reputation and visibility.

Who You Are

You likely have 1–3 years of experience in marketing, communications, digital marketing, content creation, or social media management.

More importantly:

You are curious about business, leadership, innovation, and emerging trends.
You are an excellent communicator with strong writing skills.
You are organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities.
You are comfortable with social media platforms, email marketing, analytics, and content management systems.
You have experience with tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or similar platforms.
You care about details and understand that credibility is built through consistency.
You enjoy working alongside colleagues in a collaborative, in-person environment.
