Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Ensure the smooth processing of all incoming materials through the receiving
department.
§ SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- First point of contact for all incoming drivers on receiving docks
- Process all paperwork for shipments in a timely, accurate manner
- Provide direction to the forklift drivers on offload sequence
- Schedule appointments/timeslots with vendors for live load receipts
- Maintain kanban/supermarket and co-ordinate order requirements with
Purchaser
- Receive all inventory into OHM and verify accuracy of packing slip
- Lead cycle counts
- Perform regular material warehouse audits to ensure that material is
undamaged and maintained neatly throughout the warehouse
Functional/Technical Competencies
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Must be computer literate (including Microsoft office software)
- Have strong verbal and written skills
- Must be detailed oriented
- Must be able to work efficiently in a fast paced, multi-tasking
environment, while keeping correct data.
- Working knowledge of order OHM preferred
