Vendre le café ainsi que l’équipement pour moudre et préparer le café en expliquant les différences entre les grains de café et les machines de préparation du café, et en démontrant le fonctionnement de l’équipement de préparation du café
Maintenir les stocks en réapprovisionnant les grains de café, et l’équipement de préparation du café, ainsi que les fournitures, les pâtisseries et les biscuits pour le bar à café
Garder l’équipement fonctionnel en suivant les instructions d’opération, en réglant les pannes, en maintenant l’inventaire des fournitures, en exécutant l’entretien préventif et en signalant les réparations
Maintenir un environnement de travail sain et sécuritaire en respectant les normes et les règlements d’hygiène de l’entreprise
Améliorer les résultats de qualité en étudiant, évaluant et repensant les procédés, en mettant en oeuvre les modifications, puis en maintenant et en améliorant l’apparence du magasin et du bar à café

Description

How you will make an impact:
You will be responsible for preparing and serving coffee, espresso-based beverages, and related food and beverage items for customers.

As a barista, you will be required to:

Greet customers by identifying their coffee interests and needs.
Inform customers by presenting and explaining the coffee menu and answering questions.
Prepare coffees by following prescribed recipes and preparation techniques for beverages such as espressos, lattes, and cappuccinos.
Sell coffee, as well as coffee grinding and brewing equipment, by explaining the differences between coffee beans and coffee machines, and by demonstrating how the coffee equipment works.
Maintain inventory by restocking coffee beans, coffee preparation equipment, supplies, pastries, and cookies for the coffee bar.
Keep equipment operational by following operating instructions, troubleshooting issues, maintaining supply inventory, performing preventive maintenance, and reporting repairs.
Maintain a healthy and safe work environment by following the company’s hygiene standards and regulations.
Improve quality results by studying, evaluating, and redesigning processes, implementing changes, and maintaining and improving the appearance of the store and coffee bar.

About you:

Excellent customer service skills.
Previous work experience as a barista is an asset.
Ability to understand and carry out verbal or written instructions and ask for clarification when needed.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Physical ability to perform the duties associated with the position.

Pay: $20.00 per hour
