Full job description

Our growing dental clinic is looking to add Dental Administrator(s) to our experienced team of dental professionals. If you have a passion for providing exceptional customer service while working collaboratively with an experienced team, this is the job for you. At least one year dental experience is required.

Responsibilities and Duties

Ability to travel to multiple clinics when/if needed within close proximity to major cities in Alberta
Greet and check in patients.
Answer and assist incoming telephone calls.
Scheduling all incoming referrals and managing appointments.
Demonstrate strong attention to detail and an extremely patient-focused approach with an understanding of systems and processes.
Verify and send insurance claims
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

Other

Participate in meetings and training as required.
Maintain current knowledge (technology, billing, practice admin, own job responsibilities)
Develop and maintain positive interactions with patients.
Undertake any other related duties as required.

Qualifications

High School Diploma
Dental Office Administration experience
Positive attitude
Ability to work independently.
Team player with the ability to be flexible and work in a busy environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent customer service skills.
Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
