Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Sales Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As a Sales Lead, you will play a crucial role in driving sales performance, supervising staff, and ensuring an outstanding shopping experience for our customers. Your ability to manage time effectively and handle cash transactions will be essential in this fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

Supervise and mentor sales associates, providing guidance and support to enhance team performance.
Drive sales through effective merchandising, product knowledge, and customer engagement strategies.
Train new employees on company policies, procedures, and best practices in customer service and sales management.
Maintain high standards of customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Oversee cash handling processes, including cashiering duties and daily reconciliation of cash registers.
Implement time management techniques to ensure efficient store operations during peak hours.
Collaborate with management to develop training programs that enhance team skills and product knowledge.
Utilize phone etiquette to communicate effectively with customers and provide assistance as needed.
Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and participating in stock replenishment activities.

Requirements

Proven experience in retail management or a supervisory role within a sales environment.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse clientele.
Experience in sales management with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Proficiency in cashiering and cash handling procedures is essential.
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy retail setting.
Multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with a broader customer base.
Strong training development skills to foster team growth and improve overall performance.
Ability to demonstrate phone etiquette when interacting with customers over the phone.
