Job Description Summary
This role is responsible for delivering high‑quality English‑to‑French and French‑to‑English translation, proofreading, revision, and adaptation
of a wide range of materials produced by the Customer Experience (CX) & Marketing department for World Financial Group. The position
ensures linguistic accuracy, cultural relevance, and brand consistency across all French‑language communications, particularly for Quebec audiences.

Responsibilities
Produce accurate, timely translations from English to French and French to English for a variety of content types, including but not limited to marketing materials, sales tools, market commentaries, PowerPoint presentations, press releases, legal documents, member communications, and other corporate content.
Adapt and localize content to ensure cultural appropriateness, clarity, and compliance with Quebec language standards while preserving the brand voice.
Develop compelling, action‑oriented written solutions tailored to Quebec French–speaking audiences to support marketing and business objectives.
Review and revise translated content—both internally produced and vendor‑supplied—to ensure consistency, accuracy, and adherence to linguistic, regulatory, and brand standards.
Proofread final versions of documents, printer proofs, digital assets, and web postings to verify quality, formatting, and correctness before publication.
Conduct quality checks to maintain high standards across all French‑language outputs.
Contribute to the maintenance and ongoing enhancement of the Linguistic Services terminology bank, ensuring consistent application of approved terminology across all materials.
Collaborate with CX, Marketing, Legal, and Compliance teams to support efficient workflows and uphold linguistic quality throughout the content development lifecycle.
Qualifications
University degree/college diploma in translation, or equivalent work experience
Four years of translation experience, preferably in the investment and/or insurance industry
Excellent research skills
Accuracy and attention to detail
Adaptability to manage multiple deadlines and changing priorities
Self-motivated and the ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
Proficiency using MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications

CTTIT (Certified Translator) Certificate preferred

Working Conditions
Compensation
The salary for this position generally ranges between $61,000 - $70,000 (CAD) annually. Please note that the salary range is a good faith estimate for this position and actual starting pay is determined by several factors including qualifications, experience, geography, work location designation (in-office, hybrid, remote) and operational needs. Salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law.
Additionally, this position is typically eligible for an Annual Bonus of 6% based on the Company Bonus Plan/Individual Performance and is at the Company’s discretion.
