Position Type: Independant Contractor
Availability Required: Thursdays 5:45pm to 6:45PM

Bode Movement is a boutique fitness studio located in South Etobicoke dedicated to promoting body awareness, mindfulness, and community accessibility. We offer a unique variety of classes, including infrared hot yoga, reformer Pilates, meditation, and sound healing. Our space is a modern sanctuary where clients can reconnect with their bodies and minds.

The Opportunity:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Yoga Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate is versatile, confident, and has expertise in one or more of the following areas:

Yoga Nidra
Ashtanga Yoga
Hatha Yoga
Kundalini Yoga
Yin Yoga

Key Responsibilities:

Lead a slow flow inspiring yoga classes tailored to different skill levels and needs.
Guide meditation and mindfulness practices as needed.
Educate participants on proper techniques, postures, and breathing methods.
Create a welcoming and supportive environment for all clients.
Offer modifications and adjustments to support individual needs.
Ensure studio cleanliness and maintain a professional, calming atmosphere.
Foster a supportive and inclusive atmosphere that encourages personal growth.
Provide exceptional customer service to all participants, addressing their needs and concerns.
Manage class schedules effectively, ensuring timely starts and finishes.
Demonstrate strong leadership skills by guiding students through their practice.
Communicate clearly with students regarding class expectations and safety protocols.
Continuously seek opportunities for personal development and professional growth in yoga instruction.

Qualifications:

Certified Yoga Instructor (minimum 200-hour certification; additional certifications are a plus).
Experience teaching multiple yoga styles or disciplines listed above.
Training in sound healing or meditation techniques is highly desirable.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong time management skills to coordinate class schedules efficiently.
Reliable, punctual, and organized.
CPR/First Aid Certification (preferred).
Proficiency in additional languages (e.g., ) is a plus.
Previous experience in customer service is highly desirable.
Ability to educate and inspire students of varying backgrounds and abilities.
Leadership qualities that promote a positive learning environment.
A passion for health, wellness, and the practice of yoga.
