Full job description

Miller Precast Ltd. has immediate openings for general labour. The position performs the following tasks:

Setup/strip formwork
Place/tie reinforcing
Pour concrete
Operate production equipment
Move products with overhead cranes, forklifts, etc.
Concrete repairs, patching, etc.
Sorting and packing materials
Plant clean up

The successful candidate will have the following skills/abilities:

Ability to operate standard power tools such as drills, miter saws, table saws, sawalls, grinders, etc.
Ability to use basic hand tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, pliers, etc.
Ability to perform physical work
Manufacturing or general construction experience considered an asset
Concrete construction experience (forming, pouring, rebar, etc.) considered a definite asset
Ability to work outside in different types of weather
