Reeves Richarz LLP is seeking an experienced Insurance Litigation Associate to join our team on a full‑time contract basis for up to one year. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated legal professional with a strong background in insurance litigation looking to expand their practice in a dynamic, supportive environment.
We are looking for someone with proficiency in handling a broad range of insurance litigation cases, including bodily injury, accident benefits (LAT), property claims, with an opportunity to work in family, employment, and estates litigation. The successful candidate will work closely with senior counsel on litigated matters involving bodily injury, accident benefits (LAT), and property claims, while working on diverse litigation matters while providing high-quality legal services to our clients.

Position Overview:
As an Insurance Litigation Associate at Reeves Richarz LLP, you will work with senior counsel to manage and handle litigated matters related to bodily injury and accident benefits claims. You will support clients through the legal processes, from discovery and mediation to motion hearings and trial preparation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Litigation file management - Manage all aspects of litigation cases under the guidance of senior counsel.
- Advocacy work - Handle examinations for discovery, mediations, motions, and other litigation events.
- Client service - Provide detailed casework, legal advice, and timely reporting to clients.
- Performance goals - Meet both billable and non-billable performance expectations.
- File advancement - Proactively manage and advance case files.
- Document review - Review and summarize production materials and prepare reports.
- Collaboration - Work effectively both independently and within a team environment.
Qualifications:
- Legally entitled to practice law in Canada and a member of the Law Society of Ontario.
- Experience in bodily injury, accident benefits, and property claims.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with an ability to think critically under pressure.
- Ability to meet deadlines while handling confidential information with discretion.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Canadian experience is not required (Ontario compliance requirement)
