We are currently seeking an experienced Offset Press Operator to join our growing production team. If you have hands-on experience operating Komori UV or Mitsubishi offset presses and enjoy working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate Komori UV or Mitsubishi offset presses according to standard operating procedures.
- Review job tickets and communicate with the Prepress department to ensure complete understanding of production requirements.
- Set up, adjust, and operate offset printing presses for production runs.
- Monitor print quality, color consistency, registration, and press performance throughout production.
- Minimize waste and spoilage by making necessary press adjustments.
- Troubleshoot press-related issues and perform routine operational maintenance.
- Complete production reports, including materials used and waste generated.
- Coordinate with Customer Service Representatives (CSR) regarding color approvals and paper selections.
- Clean and maintain press equipment and work with the press feeder to ensure smooth operations.
- Ensure press supplies are stocked and readily available.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation following 5S principles.
- Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Experience operating offset printing presses in a commercial or trade printing environment.
- Experience with Komori UV or Mitsubishi presses is required.
- Strong understanding of four-color process printing and registration.
- Mechanical aptitude with excellent troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to interpret job specifications and follow detailed instructions.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Positive attitude with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends as required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
