Role Summary
DRVRHUB is seeking a Licensed Ontario Paralegal to provide legal representation in traffic ticket and POA matters for individual drivers, commercial drivers, and fleet clients.
This role operates in a high-volume, technology-enabled environment, with consistent case flow and administrative support. Legal services are delivered independently by the paralegal in compliance with regulatory standards.
Regulatory Requirement
- Must be licensed and in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario
- Must maintain required professional liability insurance
Key Responsibilities
Legal Representation
- Represent clients in Provincial Offences Court for traffic matters including:
- Red light / camera violations
- Disobey sign / fail to stop
- File trial requests and court documents
- Review disclosure and evidence
- Prepare defence strategies
- Negotiate resolutions with prosecutors
- Attend court proceedings (virtual and in-person)
Client Advisory
- Explain charges, process, risks, and options to clients
- Provide clear, professional legal guidance
- Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards
Case Management
- Manage assigned caseload efficiently
- Maintain accurate file notes and status updates
- Collaborate with intake and administrative teams
- Use DRVRHUB’s case management tools
What This Role Does Not Include
- Marketing or client acquisition
(All operational and marketing support is provided by DRVRHUB.)
Qualifications
Required
- Active Ontario Paralegal Licence (LSO)
- Experience with Provincial Offences Act matters
- Strong understanding of Ontario traffic law and court procedures
- Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
- Experience in traffic ticket defence
- Experience representing commercial or fleet drivers
- Familiarity with virtual court proceedings
- Comfort working in a high-volume practice
Compensation
- Base compensation plus revenue-sharing model
- Revenue share applies to files personally handled
- Compensation structure increases with volume and responsibility
- Paid on a regular, transparent schedule
Work Arrangement
- Hybrid: remote case work with court attendance as required

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $37,171.61-$63,852.65 per year
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
