Position Overview

Johnston Fence Contracting Inc. is looking for a professional, organized, customer-focused Administrative Receptionist to join our team on a maternity leave contract. As the first point of contact for our company, you will play a key role in creating positive customer experience while providing administrative support to our sales, estimating, scheduling, and operations teams.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced office environment, excels at multitasking, and takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome visitors and serve as the first point of contact for incoming phone calls, emails, and customer inquiries.
Schedule estimator site visits, coordinate appointments, and maintain accurate customer information using Jobber.
Provide administrative support by preparing customer files, processing approved quotes, maintaining records, and assisting with general office operations.
Respond to customer inquiries regarding quotes, scheduling, and services, directing requests to the appropriate team members when required.
Support the sales and estimating teams through customer follow-up calls and appointment confirmations.
Assist with administrative functions for the Johnston Group as needed, including responding to inquiries and processing customer payments.
Maintain a professional, organized, and welcoming front office while ensuring daily administrative tasks are completed efficiently.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

Previous experience in reception, customer service, or office administration.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
The ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a busy office environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications. Experience with Jobber or similar CRM software is considered an asset.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is friendly, dependable, and proactive, with a positive attitude and a strong commitment to customer service. The successful candidate will be comfortable working independently while collaborating with multiple departments to keep our office running smoothly.

This is a full-time maternity leave contract with the possibility of adjustment based on business needs and the duration of the leave.

Pay: $20.00 per hour
