Job Overview

We are seeking energetic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Shinglers, Roofers, and Labourers. In this vital role, you will be responsible for assisting in the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing systems, ensuring safety and quality standards are met. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop construction skills while contributing to the creation of durable, weather-resistant roofs. Whether you're experienced or eager to learn, your proactive attitude and strong work ethic will help us deliver exceptional results on every project.

Duties

Assist in the installation and repair of roofing materials such as shingles, tiles, and metal panels using hand tools and power tools
Prepare work sites by clearing debris, setting up scaffolding, and ensuring safety measures are in place
Follow blueprints and technical instructions to ensure accurate placement of roofing components
Perform heavy lifting of roofing materials and equipment safely and efficiently
Use caulking tools to seal joints and prevent leaks, maintaining high-quality standards
Read and interpret construction blueprints to support precise installation processes
Support carpentry tasks related to roof framing or structural adjustments as needed
Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of waste properly

Qualifications

Experience with hand tools, construction projects, or handyman work is highly desirable
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely for extended periods during roofing tasks
Basic knowledge of blueprint reading and construction plans
Carpentry skills or experience working with wood framing is a plus
Familiarity with caulking techniques for sealing joints and preventing leaks
Prior construction or roofing experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated learners
Strong attention to safety protocols and teamwork-oriented attitude
