Childcare Center Supervisor

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Childcare Center Supervisor to lead and oversee daily operations at our childcare facility. The ideal candidate will be passionate about early childhood education, committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment, and skilled in managing staff and engaging with children of various ages. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's development while ensuring the smooth functioning of our center.

Responsibilities

Supervise and support classroom staff to ensure high-quality care and educational activities
Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote learning and development
Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations, safety standards, and center policies
Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging environment for children and staff
Coordinate daily schedules, activities, and special events
Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress, behavior, and needs
Manage administrative tasks such as attendance records, incident reports, and staff scheduling
Provide mentorship and ongoing training to staff members to enhance their caregiving skills
Assist in recruiting, hiring, and evaluating staff performance

Requirements

Prior classroom experience in early childhood education or childcare settings
Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable
Strong knowledge of early childhood development principles and teaching methods
Demonstrated caregiving skills with a compassionate and patient approach
Ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining a nurturing environment
Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and staff
Relevant certifications in early childhood education or childcare management preferred
Commitment to creating an inclusive environment that supports diverse needs of children
Ability to pass background checks and meet licensing requirements for childcare providers

Pay: $26.00-$31.00 per hour
