At our Oshawa Centre location, we’re looking for experienced Body Piercers who are confident both behind the needle and at the front desk.
The Role
This is a dual-role position. As a Body Piercer at Steel N Ink, you’ll deliver safe, high-quality piercings while also supporting front desk operations. You’ll be a key point of contact for clients—answering questions, managing bookings, handling payments, and ensuring every guest receives a professional and welcoming experience from start to finish.
Strong communication skills, reliability, and professionalism are essential in this role.
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality piercings while maintaining the highest safety and sanitation standards
- Conduct clear, confident client consultations and provide aftercare education
- Assist clients with jewelry selection, fitting, and pricing
- Handle front desk duties including bookings, walk-ins, waivers, payments, and phone/email inquiries
- Communicate effectively with clients, artists, and management
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional studio environment
- Represent the Steel N Ink brand with professionalism at all times

- Organized and capable of multitasking between piercing and front desk duties

Requirements
- Professional body piercing experience (1–2 years preferred)
- Strong knowledge of aseptic techniques and sterilization procedures
- Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills
- Valid Bloodborne Pathogen and CPR certifications (or willingness to obtain)
- A strong piercing portfolio is required with application
