Receptionist / Administrative Assistant

Prioritize Wellness – Whitby, ON
In Person | Part-Time (Potential for Full-Time Hours)

Prioritize Wellness is a growing mental health clinic specializing in therapy for children, adolescents, young adults, and families. We are looking for a warm, outgoing, and highly organized receptionist to join our team beginning September 2026.

This is a client-facing role, so we're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with people, is confident interacting with children and families, and thrives in a busy healthcare environment.

Schedule

Part-time to start, with the potential for full-time hours as the clinic continues to grow
Start date: September 2026
Applicants must be available to work afternoons and evenings (approximately 1:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.)
Occasional weekend availability is an asset

Wage

$18.00 per hour to start

Responsibilities

Welcome clients and families in a warm, professional manner
Answer phones and respond to emails
Schedule appointments and manage clinician calendars
Process payments and issue receipts
Maintain an organized and welcoming reception area
Support therapists with administrative tasks
Handle confidential client information with professionalism

Requirements

Previous experience working as a receptionist is required
Experience using Jane App is required
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Friendly, outgoing, and confident interacting with children and families
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Reliable, professional, and punctual
Experience in a healthcare or mental health setting is considered an asset

Please note: We are seeking applicants with prior receptionist experience. This position is not suitable for current high school students.
