Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our food service operations in a fast-paced environment, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Duties

Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste.
Maintain the washrooms clean.
Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including chopping vegetables and assembling ingredients.
Support banquet and catering events by ensuring all necessary items are clean and ready for service.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow during busy service periods.
Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines in all tasks performed.
Assist with bussing tables and serving when required during peak hours.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen is preferred but not mandatory.
Familiarity with food handling practices and sanitation standards is essential.
A background in hospitality or culinary arts will be beneficial for this role.
