Job Summary

Join our dynamic team as a Pool Cleaning Technician, where your expertise will keep aquatic environments pristine, safe, and inviting. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining clean and well-functioning swimming pools by performing routine cleaning, chemical balancing, and minor repairs. Your proactive approach ensures that every pool meets the highest standards of hygiene and safety, providing clients with a refreshing and worry-free experience. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your skills in pool maintenance while contributing to a clean and enjoyable outdoor space.

Responsibilities

Perform regular cleaning of pools, including skimming debris, vacuuming, brushing walls and floors to prevent algae buildup.
Test and adjust water chemistry levels such as pH, chlorine, alkalinity, and stabilizers to ensure safe swimming conditions.
Inspect pool equipment like pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorinators; perform routine maintenance or coordinate repairs as needed.
Use hand tools and power tools for minor repairs or adjustments to pool infrastructure and equipment.
Maintain detailed records of cleaning schedules, chemical treatments, and repairs for each pool serviced.
Follow safety protocols during all maintenance activities to prevent accidents or chemical mishandling.
Assist with landscape maintenance around pool areas when required, including gardening or irrigation tasks.

Requirements

Prior experience with pool cleaning or maintenance is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
Mechanical knowledge related to pool equipment such as pumps, filters, and chlorination systems.
Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in maintenance tasks.
Basic understanding of irrigation systems, gardening practices, and horticulture principles is a plus.
Construction experience or background in landscape maintenance can be advantageous for multi-faceted outdoor work.
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude towards safety and quality standards.
