iGuard360° was established as a comprehensive security firm to meet the demands of clients seeking a dependable and forward-thinking security provider, offering enduring security solutions for both condominiums and retail store locations.

At this time, iGuard360° is actively seeking Retail & Concierge Security Floater Guards (Part-Time & On-Call Opportunities) to assist at our condominium and retail around the Ottawa area. The concierge security guard will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the property, residents, and visitors while providing excellent customer service. This role emphasizes maintaining a welcoming and secure environment, addressing any concerns professionally, and acting as a key point of contact for all residents and guests.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain a positive, professional working relationships with residents, clients, and visitors.
Ensure that the privacy, and confidentiality of information of residents, clients and staff information is maintained at all times.
Conduct Access Control and Interior/Exterior Patrols
Monitor security and building safety systems such as CCTV, Fire, Alarms and Access Control Systems
Enforce Client rules, Trespass to Property Act and Municipal By-Laws
Receive and store resident's parcels, issuing parking permits, provide access to and supervision of contractors on site
Complete daily logs and reports as well as incident reports as required

Requirements:

Valid Ontario Security License
High level of personal integrity
Excellent communication skills
Superior customer service skills
Ability to multi-task and prioritize
Problem solving skills
Conflict resolution skills
Able to travel to downtown Toronto

Education / Experience:

3 years or more of concierge experience is an asset
Additional industry-related training (e.g., Hospitality Training, Non-Violent Crisis Intervention) is an asset, but not required
Completion of or enrollment in a Police Foundations, Law & Security Administration, or other relevant program is an asset, but not required

Special Certifications needed:

Valid Ontario Security Guard License
CPR Certificate Level C
Ontario Driver's License (if applicable)

Pay: $18.00-$18.10 per hour

Do you have experience using Condo Communities, BuildlingLink or Condo Control Central? If so, please specify which software.
Are you available for evenings, overnights, weekends, and short-notice call-ins?
Can you commit to professional appearance and deportment (uniform standards, no visible earbuds, etc.) at all times?
Would you be willing and available to work 12 hour day or overnight shifts on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays?

Concierge Security: 3 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

Security Guard Licence (required)
CPR Certification (required)
