This is a fully onsite position in Kanata, Ontario. It is not remote or hybrid.
You must already live within reasonable daily commuting distance of Kanata and be available to work onsite.
We are not considering candidates who plan to relocate to Ottawa in the future.
This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for someone with at least 2 years of professional experience coordinating projects, people, workflows or operational work, along with good hands-on data and systems skills.

About the Job
AutoShack is looking for a hands-on Data Operations & Project Coordinator to help organize and improve the daily work of our Product Data team.
This person will help manage priorities, follow up on work, keep projects and deadlines moving, review quality and help solve recurring data and process problems.
You will also work directly with data and systems using Excel, SQL, Python/pandas, AI and automation tools.
Automotive experience is helpful but not required. We can train the right person on our products, catalogue and fitment processes.
What We Are Looking For
You should have:
- At least 2 years of professional experience coordinating projects, people, deadlines, workflows or shared operational work.
- Experience setting priorities, assigning or coordinating work and following up to make sure it gets completed.
- Strong organizational and project-management skills.
- A completed bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, mathematics, statistics, business analytics or a closely related field.
- Advanced Excel skills, including Power Query, PivotTables, lookups, formulas, large datasets and reconciliation.
- Working SQL skills.
- Practical Python/pandas experience.
- Experience working with structured data such as CSV, XML and JSON.
- Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to review work for accuracy and quality.
- Strong written and spoken English.
- Ability to give clear instructions and document procedures.
- Good judgment using AI and automation tools, including knowing when results need human verification.
Project management experience, Agile/Jira experience or formal project-management training is a strong asset.
What You Will Do
- Coordinate the daily work queue for the Product Data team.
- Keep priorities, owners and due dates clear.
- Follow up on outstanding work and make sure important items are completed.
- Help organize projects and keep deadlines on track.
- Work directly with data using Excel, SQL, Python and approved AI tools.
- Review data quality, backlog, repeat errors and rework.
- Investigate recurring product, catalogue, fitment and SKU issues and help identify the root cause.
- Coordinate work between our Kanata team and offshore staff.
- Make sure procedures and quality standards are followed consistently.
- Create practical checks and controls so data changes are verified before and after publishing.
- Keep procedures and training material current and easy to follow.
- Identify better systems, automation and AI workflows that improve accuracy and reduce manual work.
- Work with IT, e-commerce, purchasing, customer service, warehouse and management when issues cross departments.
- Complete other duties as required.
These responsibilities preserve the hands-on data, workflow, quality-control and cross-department coordination requirements in the current role.

Selection Process
Selected candidates will complete a 35–45-minute TestGorilla assessment before an interview.
The assessment will cover:
- Excel
- Data analysis
- Attention to detail
- Problem solving
- Written communication
- Practical SQL/data questions
The assessment must be completed independently without AI, another person or outside assistance.
Candidates who pass may be asked to complete a short live or onsite exercise involving organization, priorities and data quality. This keeps the existing skills-testing approach while adding more emphasis on the coordination side of the position.
Existing vacancy. AutoShack may use AI-assisted tools to support applicant screening and assessment. Final hiring decisions are made by AutoShack personnel.
Pay: $33.00-$37.00 per hour
