Job Description:
The incumbent is responsible for providing support and technical assistance as required to Faculty and/or other staff in their delivery of skills-based learning.
The incumbent manages all aspects of the supply and equipment for the Faculty and/or other staff to include maintenance support/maintenance scheduling, setting up and tearing down laboratory sessions, orientation in usage of equipment and maintenance of equipment inventory.
Note: The regular days of work for this position may include an occasional weekend shift during the year.
Required Qualifications:
Trade certification or equivalent such as a one (1)-year Pre-Service Firefighter certificate, along with an additional two (2) years of experience or another relevant certification or diploma;
Required WHMIS completion;
Required valid DZ licence;
Minimum of three (3) years' experience in an environment that includes oversight of firefighting equipment maintenance and repairs, and inventory monitoring .
