Are you a passionate and skilled Foot Care Nurse looking to make a meaningful impact on patient health and wellbeing? At Natural Skin & Sole, we are expanding our team and invite you to join our dynamic and supportive environment, where excellence in foot care is celebrated.

About the Role

We are seeking dedicated Foot Care Nurses who are looking to grow with our clinic, while providing in clinic Medical Foot Care services for a minimum or of 2 or 3 shifts per week, including some Saturdays. The ideal candidate must be able to provide high-quality, advanced foot care services to our patients. Our clinic offers modern facilities, comprehensive tools and medical supplies, and handles all instrument sterilization, so you can focus on providing exceptional care.

Status: Independent Contractor
Schedule: Part-Time with possibility of Full-Time
Compensation: Competitive pay structure

Key Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive lower limb and foot assessments
Develop and implement personalized treatment plans within the scope of nursing practice
Provide high-quality foot care treatments (e.g., callus/corn debridement, fungal toenail care, ingrown toenail management)
Accurately document assessments and treatments in the clinic’s EMR system
Refer patients to other healthcare providers when appropriate
Adhere to IPAC best practices and ensure proper sterilization techniques
Engage in continuous professional education to enhance skills and knowledge

Qualifications & Skills

Active registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
Professional Liability Insurance (RNAO, WeRPN, CNPS, etc.)
Advanced Nursing Foot Care Certificate (required)
Strong knowledge of wound care, diabetes management, circulatory conditions, IPAC, onychomycosis, and ingrown toenail care (asset)
Proficiency in advanced foot care techniques (scalpel debridement, fungal nail care, etc.)
Excellent oral and written English communication skills
Strong time management and interpersonal skills
Ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary setting and work independently with sound clinical judgment
Comfortable with technology and capable of using an Electronic Medical Records system (training provided)
