ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a Tuesday to Saturday, daytime role - Sundays and Mondays off. You will start each morning at our MDO facility, load your 26-foot box truck, and head out to complete curbside deliveries across Ottawa and the surrounding area.
Think of it like a professional, large-format version of an Amazon delivery - you are getting product to the customer's door safely, efficiently, and on time. No customer interaction required. No installation. Just show up, deliver it right, document it, and move to the next stop.
This is not a gig. This is a full-time, permanent position with a company that has been in business for 114 years and is not going anywhere.

This is a commercial delivery role operating a 26-foot box truck. We are not looking for gig delivery drivers. If your delivery experience consists of driving your personal vehicle for Uber Eats, SkipTheDishes, DoorDash, or similar platforms, this position is not the right fit and we respectfully ask that you do not apply. We are looking for candidates with genuine commercial driving experience who are ready to step into a professional role and take it seriously.
WHAT YOUR DAY LOOKS LIKE
- Report to our MDO facility each morning to load your truck for the day
- Operate a 26-foot straight box truck equipped with a lift gate
- Complete curbside deliveries - product is placed at the customer's door using the lift gate, pallet jack, or hand bombing as required
- Update our PDA system at every stop - photos taken, delivery confirmed, system updated in real time
- No customer interaction required - your job is to get the product there safely and on time
- Look after your truck - daily pre-trip inspections, cleanliness, and safety are non-negotiable
WHAT YOU BRING
- Valid full Class G driver's license - mandatory
- Due to commercial fleet insurance requirements, your license must have been held for a minimum of 5 years and must be verifiable
- A clean driver's abstract is mandatory - any record of impaired driving or DUI within the last 10 years, or careless driving within the last 5 years, will result in automatic disqualification. A driver's abstract will be required prior to any offer of employment
- Physical ability to lift and maneuver items - this is a physical role requiring stamina throughout the day
- Comfortable operating a lift gate and pallet jack
- Strong time management skills - you will manage your own route and your stops matter
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions on the road
- Previous commercial driving experience is required - personal vehicle delivery experience does not qualify for this position
