Business Intelligence & Analytics 14: Salaries typically range from $58,189 to $77,586 annually, based on qualifications and experiences plus a performance-based incentive.
- Business Intelligence & Analytics 15: Salaries typically range from $65,172 to $86,898 annually, based on qualifications and experiences plus a performance-based incentive.

Export Development Canada operates in a hybrid work environment, with a current requirement of two in-office days per week, increasing to three days per week in September 2026 (subject to change).

Team Overview:
EDC is seeking a financial professional to be a contributor to the Segment & Product Analytics team. The Segment & Product Analytics group supports the segment, product and commercial groups at EDC in the areas of Reporting and Analytics, Strategic Planning and Portfolio Management.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting reporting and analysis on business results that help to drive informed decision-making. The candidate will have the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and translate business data into digestible information that provides insights and improves corporate processes. A self-motivated individual, they will have a natural curiosity to understand why things are happening in a certain way, and how to leverage different technologies to improve them. The successful candidate should possess analytical and technical skills, a result-focused approach, while striving for quality improvement to impact business results and customer experience. The successful candidate is also a team player and have level appropriate knowledge of EDC suite of products (Financing, Insurance, Bonding, Loans and Guarantees).
What you will be doing:

Support senior team members in multiple data solution projects, through hands-on tasks related to gathering requirements, defining success metrics, validating business logic, and ensuring analytics outputs are accurate, trusted, and aligned with business priorities.

Support the ongoing maintenance of executive-ready dashboards, scorecards, and performance reporting.

Use SQL and Python to extract, transform, model, analyze, and visualize data from multiple enterprise sources.

Conduct diagnostic, predictive, and exploratory analyses to identify opportunities, risks, and emerging trends, and provide actionable recommendations to business leaders.

Leverage automation, advanced analytics, and AI-enabled tools where appropriate to improve reporting efficiency, reduce manual effort, and enhance the speed and quality of insight generation.

Contribute to data quality, governance, and documentation practices by identifying data integrity issues, documenting business definitions and metric logic, and recommending practical improvements to improve trust in reporting.
What we are looking for:

Undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Economics, Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related discipline.

Experience in business intelligence and data analytics.

Solid project management and organizational skills.

Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
What will make you stand out:

Experience using SQL or Python for data transformation.
-
Experience with data transformation tools such as Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, SSIS, or DataStage.

Experience using business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Cognos Analytics, or Tableau.

Experience with data virtualization software such as Denodo.
-
Strong Excel skills, including ability to use pivot tables, VBA, data management and validation tools.

Demonstrated hands-on experience in building complex reports.

Solid understanding of finance and statistical principles and concepts.

Bilingualism in both official languages (English and French)

Professional designation/candidacy (CPA, CFA, FRM, or MBA)
