Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Bartender/Food Server to join our dynamic hospitality team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service by preparing and serving beverages and food, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food and beverage industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Take and serve drink orders accurately using POS systems such as Restaurant Manager/ SkyTab.
Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner.
Handle cash transactions with accuracy, including cashiering and cash handling duties.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas, adhering to food safety standards.
Ensure proper food handling and safety procedures are followed at all times.
Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service, addressing any questions or concerns promptly.
Manage multiple tables or bar orders efficiently while maintaining a high level of service quality.
Assist in setting up and breaking down the bar area before and after shifts as needed.
Support team members during busy hours to ensure smooth operation of the restaurant.
Working with ALC Video Lotto Terminals, performing cash transactions for ticket redemptions, ensuring operations of technical equipment, assisting guests using the VLT's.

Requirements

Previous bar/ restaurant experience is preferred, especially in food service or hospitality roles.
Familiarity with POS systems such as RM POS/ SkyTab or similar platforms.
Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
Good time management skills to handle multiple tables or drink orders simultaneously.
Math skills for cash handling, billing, and making change accurately.
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
Flexibility to work evenings/ nights, weekends, or holidays as needed; availability for serving shifts is essential.
Applicants must be 19 years of age or older.
Professional references for past positions in Food and Beverage industry required.
