Full job description

Job Summary

We are looking for a friendly, dependable, and energetic Retail Meat Counter Assistant to join our team! This is a fantastic opportunity to bring your skills to a vibrant community shop.

Duties

Counter Service: Welcoming, serving, and assisting customers directly from our retail counter.
Order Fulfillment: Packing a wide variety of meats and related products, as well as accurately processing and fulfilling wholesale orders.
Merchandising: Fully stocking, arranging, and maintaining our fresh retail display cases so they always look pristine.
Shop Organization: Maintaining an organized, clean, and safe work environment behind the counter.

Experience

At least 2 years of experience in retail customer service and direct experience handling food or related items.
A valid Safe Food Handling Certificate is preferred, or a strong willingness to obtain one upon joining us.
Weekday and weekend availability to line up with our active storefront hours.
Excellent communication, a welcoming attitude, and keen attention to presentation.
