Volunteer Driver (Class 4) – Parksville Area

Location: Parksville, BC

Position Type: Volunteer – part time

Schedule: Flexible/As Needed

We are currently seeking Volunteer Drivers with a valid Class 4 license to support two staffed residential programs in the Parksville area serving individuals with limited mobility.

Transportation is a vital part of helping the people we support remain active, connected, and engaged in their community. While our staff team works toward obtaining their Class 4 licenses, volunteers will help bridge this temporary gap and ensure continuity of support.
This is a meaningful opportunity to make a direct impact in a practical and flexible way.

The Role

As a Volunteer Driver, you will:

Safely operate a Bonaventure wheelchair-accessible vehicle
Transport individuals to appointments, community programs, and activities
Support access to meaningful community participation and routine
Follow direction from Bonaventure staff during scheduled transportation
Bonaventure staff remain responsible for all care, supervision, and support needs during transport
Volunteers are not expected to provide personal care or behavioral support

This role is limited to transportation duties only.
