ABOUT YOU:

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Operate and maintain dishwashing area, ensuring dishes, trays, and utensils are cleaned and organized.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen, including work surfaces, floors, and equipment.
Assist with end-of-day clean down and preparation for the next day’s production.
Collect, sort, and dispose of waste and recycling in accordance with food safety standards.
Restock kitchen supplies (utensils, dishes, packaging, cleaning products) as needed.
Support bakers and cooks with loading/unloading trays, moving ingredients, and general kitchen tasks.
Assist with basic food preparation (e.g., tray-up, portioning, simple prep tasks).
Follow all food safety and workplace safety procedures.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Strong attention to cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards.
Capable of performing physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, and standing for long periods.
Good time management and ability to follow instructions.
Team-oriented with a positive and cooperative attitude.
Basic understanding of kitchen equipment and cleaning practices (dishwasher, sanitizers, trays, utensils).
Previous experience in a kitchen, bakery, or food service environment is an asset but not required.
Ability to lift and carry items up to approximately 55 lbs (accommodations available upon request)

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Seasonal

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
