Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations. This role requires proficiency in various accounting software and a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles.

Responsibilities

Maintain and update financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks
Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data.
Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, including invoicing and payment processing.
Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities to support financial planning.
Process payroll accurately and in a timely manner.
Prepare monthly financial statements and reports for management review.
Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations regarding financial reporting.
Collaborate with external auditors during audits and provide necessary documentation.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
Proficiency in accounting software, including QuickBooks (multiple years)
Strong understanding of bank reconciliation processes and general bookkeeping principles.
Experience with budgeting, payroll processing, and accounts receivable/payable management is preferred.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
