Full job description

Just Lubes Ltd. is seeking an experienced Territory Operations Manager, preferably with a background in the automotive industry, to drive sales growth, strengthen customer relationships, and support the continued expansion of our business within an assigned territory.

In accordance with identified company goals, the Territory Operations Manager will strive to obtain best in class service, optimum efficiencies, consistency of operations, maximize profit and deliver overall operational and customer experience excellence.

To achieve these goals, the Territory Operations Manager will have experience in automotive service and Franchise Management, be passionate about providing industry leading customer service and be a Health and Safety champion, ensuring all stores follow the required policies, procedures, and regulations.

The store locations are in the GTA, Eastern, Central and Northern Ontario, so the successful candidate will need to reside within a reasonable drive to visit the stores on a regular basis.

Job Duties:

Collaborate with store teams to deliver exceptional customer experience, ensuring every customer receives outstanding service on every visit.
Work with store locations to continuously improve on key company metrics including average ticket amount, labour rates and cost of good sold (COGS).
Ensure all stores follow proper health, safety, and environmental procedures in compliance with all municipal, provincial, and federal regulations.
Train, coach and mentor store managers on policies, procedures, and proper business practices.
Assist with new employee training by positively reinforcing successful performance and giving respectful and encouraging coaching as needed.
Conduct training presentations for technicians on product knowledge, store activities, and established policies and procedures.
Ensure all customer complaints are addressed and handled professionally and in a timely manner, leaving the customer with a positive resolution.
Ensure employees have clear goals and have the required training and tools to deliver.
Ensure that all staff adhere to all health and safety regulations and are equipped with and are using the proper personal protective equipment.
Evaluate employee performance and provide feedback and coaching. Determine areas needing improvement and provide additional training as needed.
Greet and assist customers in a manner that models exemplary conduct to other staff, including demonstrating add-on sales and describing technical information to customers to enhance sales competencies.
Handle employee complaints and incidents, including conflict resolution, accidents, health and safety concerns, work refusals, and investigations.
Participate in workplace inspections.
Conduct Store Visitation audits and Business reviews with store owners.
Identify & prospect for new Fleet Customers.
Coach compliance and adherence of the Franchise Agreement.

Job Requirements:

Experience in Franchise Management
Experience in the automotive service or related sector(s).
Keen understanding of operational excellence methodology.
Ability to delegate, set expectations, and monitor progress.
Ability to identify issues and implement creative and strategic solutions to overcome problems.
Ability to identify measures of performance and actions needed to improve or correct performance.
Ability to initiate and model positive change.
Ability to accept and provide constructive criticism.
Ability to build and maintain lasting working relationships.
Time management skills.
Effective leadership skills, with a strong focus on mentoring and motivation of employees.
Experience with coaching and employee development.
Experience leading and motivating teams and proven track record of exceptional customer service strongly preferred.
Experience in a supervisory or managerial role preferred.
Open availability and flexibility to work occasional nights, weekends, store openings and closings to meet the needs of the business.
Strong leadership skills.
Valid Ontario driver's license.

Work Conditions:

Attendance and participation in training.
Extended periods of standing, and other physically demanding conditions.
Flexible hours including occasional nights and weekends
High pressure and fast paced environment
Lifting, moving, or manipulating objects up to 50 lbs.
Medium to extensive travel is required to effectively support and manage the assigned territory.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $75,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
